When we talk about a "good person," we're not talking about a grand building, but rather about the foundation that remains invisible and bears the entire burden.
The true identity of a good person is determined by these three qualities:
1. Strength in Adversity
A good person isn't someone who smiles only in good times. True humanity is evident when times are tough. A good person's values are passed down as courage to their next generation. The person who keeps themselves and their family steadfast in the storm is truly "strong."
2. Values over Volumes
A good person never forgets their roots. They respect their partner's family history as much as their own. This is a person's respect and gratitude for their relationships. It shows that they value depth and truth in relationships.
3. Clarity & Candor
A good person has a transparent personality. He knows how to say "yes" to "yes" and "no" to "no." He prefers to write his own destiny (and his own accounts) with his own hands, away from the world of pretense. He doesn't need any complicated machinery or pretensions; his simplicity is his greatest ornament.
A 'good person' is one who may be a shadow to others, but never allows himself to stand in the sun.
